ActualAnalyzer — web statistics tool for monitoring and analysis of web site traffic.
Installation / ActualAnalyzer Server
ActualAnalyzer Server installation
  1. Extract the zip containing ActualAnalyzer Server. It makes a folder "server". You may rename it if you want.
  2. Upload this folder with all subfolders and files to your server.
  3. Set permissions for this folder (folder "server" by default) as 777. Setting permissions for other directories and files are not required on most servers.
  4. Point your browser to your domain to file "admin.php" and fill the respective fields. You should receive positive result of the testing.
  5. Congratulations! You are ready!
Creating of accounts in ActualAnalyzer Server
  1. Point your browser to your domain to file "new.php", fill the respective fields in form of Account Request and submit it.
  2. Point your browser to your domain to file "admin.php" and use your login information to authenticate (By default username and password is "admin". You can change it in "Settings" section).
  3. Go to "Approve account" section and approve the account's request you have submitted before.
  4. Congratulations! The account is created!

Connecting of domains to ActualAnalyzer Server
  1. Point your browser to your domain to file "admin.php" and use your login information to authenticate (By default username and password is "admin". You can change it in "Settings" section).
  2. Go to "Add domain" section and enter the name of the domain.
  3. Click the "Sumbit" button to connect the domain.
  4. Congratulations! The domain is connected!

Connecting of pages to ActualAnalyzer Server

If you have dynamic web site (the pages of web site have parameters, for example: http://domain.com/index.php?id=1&acc=3) then you should use the "Dynamic HTML-code", otherwise you should use the "General HTML-code".

For static web site:

  1. Point your browser to your domain to file "admin.php" and use your login information to authenticate (By default username and password is "admin". You can change it in "Settings" section).
  2. Place the HTML-code from section "General HTML-code" to pages that you want to track.
  3. Congratulations! The pages will be automatically added with first visit.

For dynamic web site:

  1. Point your browser to your domain to file "admin.php" and use your login information to authenticate (By default username and password is "admin". You can change it in "Settings" section).
  2. Place the HTML-code from section "Dynamic HTML-code" to pages that you want to track.
  3. Congratulations! The pages will be automatically added with first visit.

Creating of groups in ActualAnalyzer Server

  1. Point your browser to your domain to file "admin.php" and use your login information to authenticate (By default username and password is "admin". You can change it in "Settings" section).
  2. Go to "Create group" section and enter the name of the group. Also check the pages that you want to include in this group.
  3. Click the "Sumbit" button to save changes.
  4. Congratulations! The group is created!

Adding of pages to the groups in ActualAnalyzer Server

For single page:

  1. Point your browser to your domain to file "admin.php" and use your login information to authenticate (By default username and password is "admin". You can change it in "Settings" section).
  2. Go to "Pages" section and click "Edit" action for page you want to add to the group.
  3. Select group where it is necessary to include the page and click the "Submit" button to save changes.
  4. Congratulations! The page is added!

For multiple pages:

  1. Point your browser to your domain to file "admin.php" and use your login information to authenticate (By default username and password is "admin". You can change it in "Settings" section).
  2. Go to "Groups" section and click "Edit" action for group where you want to add pages.
  3. Check the pages that you want to include in group and click the "Sumbit" button to save changes.
  4. Congratulations! The pages are added!

Viewing of statistics in ActualAnalyzer Server

  1. Point your browser to your domain to file "view.php" and use your login information to authenticate.
  2. Select necessary report, time interval and item for which you want to see the statistics.
  3. Congratulations! The report shows requested values!
Uninstall of ActualAnalyzer Server

  1. Point your browser to your domain to file "uninst.php" and use your login information to authenticate. You should receive positive result of the uninstall.
  2. Remove ActualAnalyzer folder with all subfolders and files from server.
